Yes the toothpaste is cool.
@Peri I'm probably gonna start on a castle on the same mountain my floaty house is on now. I started a castle floating over the lake down below but eehhhh... tho it did let me see a squid for the first time. But it's hard to see from a distance. I'm still using my floaty house as my reference landmark.
Wow it is hot today. I'm all lethargic. And hungry. Too much pigging out over the past several days...or weeks even ugh. I wanted to be 145 by now. Skinny people are more comfortable in heat. Even in my cats it's obvious. My tiny skinny cat is still as boisterous as ever but my bigger cats are all stretched out on the floor trying to avoid heat stroke. Ugh and it's only around 90 today...what will I do when the 100+ days arrive?
Well this is what I get for still being fat.
My bento arrived! Well bento box I should say. And ofc Mom had a look at it too and it's niiiiice. And it came with a spork! ^_^
Hungryyyyy.... too hot for hot food! Not much food here anyway. There's veggies but they'd be hot ungh... could make myself a cold protein shake. Or nap. Or possibly both. What is it about heat that makes peeps so sleepy? Like even my thoughts are slow and I forget things easy.
Had a sinle bowl of special k w 2% milk...and one of my joint drink mixes. Early this morning I had a packet of coconut m&ms that I found upstairs. Chocolate melts quickly upstairs now. Eeeeeks. Hope I got all the chocolate down...finally. grr I keep finding more!
I should get on computer and do mspaint hair experiments. I can get the ringlets Peri talked about. But it takes a fuckton of work. My hair is slightly wavy so it does hold a curl for a little bit but getting the curls the right size and direction (and then to stay there) is um...difficult. I actually used the spraycan brush because I thought it would best reflect the frizzy wisps my hair tends to take. The flyaway tangles. Huh maybe spraycan frizzy makes people think of tight curly hair frizzing. Oops. Maybe several pencil lines would better show the babyfine wispy tangley quality.
Ungh this hot still at 6pm? Oh thos bodes well.
Good news is it makes me better about drinking. Past few days, even tho I pig out at home, I've still been averaging 50oz daily of water or a very low calorie drink mix, usually the 10cal joint mix. I do need to get back on my protein shakes tho.
Oh fuck I just realized...bet the powerbars and atkins bars are getting melty up there. Fuuuuuck.
Clearly my summerproofing is not done.
And where the hell are my big straw hats and oversized shirts? Need to keep mmy pale skin out of the sun. But coats are not comfy. I got these mens buttonups that are treated with Rit Sun Guard...somewhere. yes I am solarphobic. I watched my paternal grandmother die of melanoma and I've been solarphobic ever since I found out what killed her. I haven't been in direct sunlight for more that 2 minutes since I was 17, and I'm not saying how long ago that was!
Ok I gotta pee AGAIN then I'll make myself a cold protein shake mmmm nomnom
Mom's talking about hot dogs for dinner. If I'm less hungry hopefully I'll eat less. Ofc she's also talking chilisauce. If it's spicy I'll be eating even less. But she does get whole wheat buns. There's no white bread in this house. We both agree it's bad for diabetics and neither of us really likes the taste anyway.

Food review!
Or...edible item review anyway... not all of my items are technically food this time around.
My first 2 thinkgeek orders are here and I've dug into both.
So I'll be looking at the caffeine mints, cupcake toothpaste, cupcake fizzy tabs and astronaut ice cream. My Buzz Bites caffeine chocolate chews also arrived and I'll probably try them tomorrow since I close at work tonight and I need to get up early to go to church tomorrow ...and then I also work tomorrow!
Also the whif chocolate.
Quick update on my car....the battery is dead. It took a tiny charge but didn't hold the charge very well and had no ouutput. So I need a new battery. I kinda want to keep the charger tho....I like having the option to charge my battery if my car sits idle too long again. And a new battery wouldn't run much beyond $60 and I've spent more than that at thinkgeek!
So back to my reviews...
First up- th e cupcake flavored toothpaste. It actually tastes more like the whipped icing we get for grandpa cuz he's diabetic. It's kinda sweet but not really as sweet as the full sugar frosting. It tastes like the whipped frosting. It is a brownish pink and it doesn't foam up or anything. You'll need to use more than you think. There's no fluoride or whiteners..it's as basic as a toddler's training toothpaste. It's really just a lubricant for the toothbrush to move around easier.
That said..I still like it. Seeing it makes me smile and I have been brushing my teeth more often lately. It's also a tiny 2.5 oz tube so maybe is airplane friendly?
Next...
Foosh caffeinated mints. These are seriously caffeinated.... 100mgs of caffeine in each individual mint and you get 12 mints in a tin. They made me pleasantly alert but I was not jittery. The problem for me is the mint taste was sooo strong I damn near sneezed the mint right out of my mouth several times! If you can handle Altoids without a problem then these will probably work much better for you than they do for me.
I have 9 mints left to try to get used to strong mint taste. I'm trying. Cuz these mints really are a good deal. Only 5 cal each and they work for me better than 5hr energy does.. (5hr energyy makes me feel overheated sometimes)
I already ate two of my 3 astronaut ice cream. The neopolitan flavor is just like it was when I was a kid at COSI. But I liked the chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips much better. Both are excellent products, I'm just not a strawberry ice cream fan. Which is weird cuz I love strawberries. The third one is mint chocolate chip. I think I'll have it now actually....
Mmmm very nice....mint chocolate chip is my fave non-astronaut ice cream too.
Sometimes I wonder if I can tastes the flavors better when they're freeze-dried simply because there's no coldness to numb my tastebuds.
Astronaut ice cream has such an interesting texture. Like soft foamy or something...and it's fun to let it "melt" on my tongue :D

Finally...the Le Whif breathable chocolate. I really wanted to like this.....I'm a chocoholic. But it's 3 plastic tubes with chocolate powder or something inside. It make me cough a few times, and I either couldn't really taste anything or I was coughing. And when I did manage to get some of the powder on my tongue it wasn't very sweet. Seriously doubt I'll get these again. It's a nice idea, but I guess the delivery system needs more work.
Please note thinkgeek does not make Le Whif...they only sell it. And it is selling so someone must like it.

I am an addict
hi... my name is Honor Regzig, and i am a ThinkGeek Addict.
I made my second order before my first had even arrived (tho fortunatly my first order did arrive later that day)
And i just now made my third order... and my second has not arrived.
I am an addict.
This time it was the Bento box and some mints.. and the titanium spork as my gift-with-purchase.
To be fair i had been waiting for the Bento to come back into stock anyway...
And I'm making excuses.
So... 3 orders in like 5 days... and each order was at least 60 dollars.
I am an addict. Please excuse me while I go cry over a pyre of my credit cards.
Who am i kidding... I'd never burn my credit cards.
But i may have to ban myself from the computer!

My car haz a sad.
It wouldn't start today. turn the key and....nothing. we're hoping it's just a dead battery since the poor thing was basically sitting unused for like 2 months. So I have a battery charger, just unhooked it. I can't lift the battery so it's just kinda chillin. I dunno if I got the right kind of charger and R was in bad mood so he kept cutting the salesguy off. Salesguy was nice to me too once I told who my mom was cuz he knows her. That auto store gives a discount to the peeps at mom's church. And yea I took advantage even tho I go to another church most the time. I still return to the "church" for singing stuff sometimes.
So no driver test for me tomorrow. Best case scenario we get to make the appt. But I will be glad to get some more practice time.
My first thinkgeek order arrived! Mom loves her star trek cookbook. I also order the whif chocolate, the cupcake fizzy tablets, Foosh caffeine mints, the Sneaky Things book, and cupcake flavored toothpaste.
Mom tried the mints since I didn't want caffeine after 6pm (not that it mattered...2am and I'm still up wtf) and she says the mint is Altoids strong. She didn't feel caffeinated but she's never been sensitive to caffeine anyway. She thinks the mint is what wakes you up.
The Sneaky Uses for Everyday Things book has me amused. Definite fun stuff.
I dunno what to do about the cupcake fizzy tablets. It doesn't say how much water to add. First try was in my usual 20oz and there was no taste. Then 10oz and I could smell a hint of frosting. 6oz seems to be the max to get flavor but the flavor is a definite fake-frosting thing.
But it does help with sugar cravings even in 10oz. I'm gonna throw one into my nightstand water bottle (another 10oz) and see how it tastes tomorrow.
I should add that these tablets take fucking forever to dissolve.
But again.... they do seem to really help with sugar cravings. I still haven't opened the Whifs and I don't feel a need to. So tomorrow I try the Foosh mints and have another go at the cupcake fizzy tablets. Now I'm off to test the cupcake flavored toothpaste (which does not contain fluoride btw, so switch it up with a fluoride-containing toothpaste too)
I'm hoping having these toys will help cut down on my bingetastic lifestyle lately. It's been shameful.

Shiiiiiittt.... soooo bad today. Not only did I cruelly massacre a gazillion Hershey Kisses after work, but while blogging I'm also making my first order on thinkgeek. I'm already at $30 and that's before shipping...and do these guys charge sales tax? Sheeee-it.
And I found the Neelix cookbook and it'd make such a kickass present for my mom.
And it would add another $23 to my bill.
We don't do presents very often in my family. Too poor to be honest. But this... she'd love it even tho I know damn well she won't cook from it. She adores all things Star Trek. I'm more about Original Series and a fair chunk of Voyager and a few random episodes from other series that reference Original Series. (Also... do not mention the ST reboot.. or I just might kill you)
Altho getting her the book might convince her to turn the damn tv off for a few hours. Ahhh blessed silence! She's a fast reader tho.
And i'd get guilt-tripping rights :D

Yay Blogger! Blogger found and restored those 2 comments from Mich! The one about waiting for mspaint with decreasing patience! Heeeee!
Damn bleeding just about done. Control is coming back, pain is gone.

Willpower to ignore food is coming back...but willpower to ignore the fun stuff at thinkgeek dot com is nowhere around! So much stuff I want! Astronaut food! Well astronaut snacks really...ice cream and apple slices and chocolate and ice cream sandwiches... and they have uber-long-shelf-life stuff. "Tactical sammich" can be stored unopened for like 3 years. Tho I'm not to interested in trying them I'm amused by them and keychain speaker amp is soooo cute! And the newly arrived teeny building sets awwwww..... and their survival kit stuff cracks me up (I havve always been fascinated with survival kits...dunno why). And a titanium spork!! Love it! And Star Trek toys... I even wanna try the cupcake flavored toothpaste! And all the forms caffeine comes in...and they have a Zelda Ocarina (yes!! Want!!!1!) And the bento and solar powered cellphone chargers and some cool WoW stuff (Frostmourne!!) And energy potions/caffeine!1.. in the form of stuff like mana and life potions. I got such Diablo II flashbacks!
Their foods are expensive but look so fun! And what is this.....breathable chocolate!?!
